Visual EngineWeb-based 3D Scene Editor

Create, edit and preview real-time 3D scenes right in your browser — no installation required.

How the editor works

From an empty viewport to a running 3D scene in three steps.

  1. Open the editor

Launch Visual Engine in your browser and start a new scene. There is nothing to download or install, and no plugin to configure.

  2. Build with components

Add objects to the scene, attach ECS components to give them logic and physics behaviour, and write custom shaders in JavaScript or TypeScript when the built-in materials are not enough.

  3. Preview and share

Run the scene with one click, iterate on it in the browser, then share the result as a standalone web component.

Engineered for Performance

Everything you need to build next-generation web experiences, right in your browser.

Real-time 3D Editing

Transform, rotate, and scale with pixel-perfect precision inside our GPU-accelerated viewport.

Component System

Built on a robust ECS architecture. Attach logic and physics behaviors visually.

Script & Code

Write custom JavaScript or TypeScript shaders with instant hot-module-replacement.

One-click Preview

Instantly run and share your immersive 3D scene as a standalone web component.

What you can build with it

A browser 3D editor is useful anywhere a scene has to be seen, not just described.

Product demos

Put an interactive 3D model on a landing page instead of a rendered video, so visitors can rotate and inspect it themselves.

3D prototypes

Rough out a scene layout, camera and materials in the browser, then hand the result to the rest of the pipeline.

Interactive pages

Embed a small scene into a documentation page or showcase without asking readers to install a desktop application.

Learning WebGL

Experiment with components and shaders in a live scene, where each change is visible immediately.

Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask before opening the editor for the first time.

Do I need to install anything to use Visual Engine?
No. Visual Engine runs in the browser, so you can open the editor and start building a scene without downloading or installing anything.
Which browsers are supported?
Visual Engine needs a modern browser with WebGL 2 or WebGPU support, such as a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
Can I write custom shaders and scripts?
Yes. Scenes can be extended with JavaScript or TypeScript, and shader changes are picked up through hot module replacement while you keep working.
What is the component system?
It is an ECS (entity–component–system) architecture. Reusable components hold logic and physics behaviour, and you attach them to entities visually instead of wiring everything in code.
How do I share a scene?
Use one-click preview to run the scene, then share it as a standalone web component that can be dropped into another page.
Is Visual Engine free?
Visual Engine is in public beta. Check the GitHub repository for the current release and the latest information about pricing.
